John Biggins – Financial Hero, the inventor of Credit Cards.
In 1946 John invented the “Charge-It” card for Flatbush National Bank of Brooklyn, New York City.
It’s hard to believe the credit card has been with us now for so long and is such and important part of everyday life.
Some would say that credit cards are not a good thing, but that’s only if you have troubles managing your money… and you would probably find yourself in a trick situation anyway. Credit cards enable us to buy things online, go traveling to difference countries and pay for this with a bit of plastic.
So John Biggins, we solute you for introducing the credit card – an unsung hero.
